Egor leads the ICIS team of plastics recycling analysts for the EMEA region, researching and analysing markets across the region. His main responsibilities include analysing supply chains, regulations and policies relating to sustainability and recycling, assessing key industry initiatives and their impact on demand for recycled polymers, and forecasting prices. He also co-develops and expands the ICIS Recycling Supply Trackers for mechanical and chemical recycling, which aim to bring transparency to plastics recycling markets and support customers in sourcing secondary raw materials. Before joining ICIS, he worked in the petrochemical industry, focusing on strategic development and sustainability.

A graduate of the Faculty of Production Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology, he is also pursuing an industrial doctorate at the university’s Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering. A practitioner who combines academic knowledge with hands-on industrial experience gained directly on production floors and at customers’ facilities. His professional and research work focuses on developing low-emission monomaterial polyethylene structures designed for mechanical recycling, supporting the circular economy and enabling recyclates to be reused in the same processes.

With five years at LYB, including four in CLCS, she collaborates across the value chain to develop, test and commercialise innovations based on recycled polymers. Adriana holds a degree in chemical engineering. She previously worked in Technical Service and Product Development for olefins and polyolefins, supporting the medical sector, caps and closures, and applications based on virgin polypropylene (PP).

Business Development and Technical Service Engineer at Basell Orlen Polyolefins, responsible for the film and injection moulding segments. He graduated in Chemical Technology from the Silesian University of Technology and completed postgraduate studies in Plastics Processing at Częstochowa University of Technology. He gained his professional experience in industry, working in technology departments involved in the production of PE, PET and PP films, ISBM technology and the printing industry, where he specialised in lamination. By combining practical process knowledge with materials expertise, he effectively supports customers in raw material selection, formulation development and the creation of new solutions for the plastics and packaging market. He has been with BOPS for more than four years, where he is responsible for business development in the film and injection moulding segments, combining technical consultancy with hands-on support for customers implementing new projects and innovative material solutions. He has a particular interest in monomaterial structures for the flexible packaging market, enabling the design of packaging that meets both functional and recyclability requirements while supporting the development of a circular economy.

Piotr Zimolzak is a sociologist and mathematician by training. He has worked in marketing research for nearly 20 years. Since 2011, he has been a co-founder and Vice-President of SW Research, a research agency and leader in online research on the Polish market. He has independently led or supervised more than 2,000 research projects, mainly in brand and advertising research, health and social issues. He specialises in designing research processes, samples and tools. He has created training programmes for researchers and analysts, as well as university courses on selected data-analysis methods in marketing research.
For the past six years, he has led the recurring “EKObarometr — on the road to a green society” project, the most comprehensive and up-to-date source of data on consumer awareness, attitudes and behaviour in relation to ecology and the natural environment.
